Noah's Covenant
After leaving Eden, Man began to spread out over all the Earth
But Man continued to live in disobedience to God
God was grieved in his heart and decided to destroy mankind
Of all mankind, only Noah obeyed God and was considered righteous
God vowed to wipe out all mankind except for Noah and his immediate family
God told Noah to build an Arc (which typifies salvation) and sent flood waters upon the Earth to destroy mankind who had become very wicked
So God sent a flood which covered the whole Earth killing all of it's inhabitants
God vowed never to destroy the earth again with a flood and gave them sign of the rainbow
The Arc came to rest on Mt Ararat in Turkey
From there, the eight people on the arc multiplied and spread out over all the Earth
The Nations of the world are descendants of Noah and his three sons; Ham, Shem and Japheth
Noah is thought to have gone North to China and may have been China's first emperor - known to the Chinese as Yao or Fohi - (he died in the same year as Noah)
Shem's descendants settled in Asia
Abraham and Lot were descendants of Shem
Abraham became the father of many Nations - most notable being the Israelites, the Ishmaelites and the Edomites
Abraham had other Children to his third wife Keturah whom he sent to the East giving rise to other nations such as the Midianites, Letushites, Leummites and Asshurites
Lot became the father of the Ammonites and the Moabites
Japheth's descendants settled in Europe
Ham's descendants went to Africa, Egypt, Canaan and Babylon
The Bible gives a much more detailed account of the dispersal including very detailed genealogies showing where all of the known Nations in Abrahams time came from (Genesis 10:1-32, 1Chronicles 1:1-54)
There after, the Bible focuses on Israel and traces the Royal line all the way to Christ
The Bible records a complete account of the descendants of Adam until the birth of Christ
History tells us the rest
