What does it mean to be Holy?
Holiness refers to the character of God. God is loving,
merciful, faithful, righteous and just. He cannot lie and he is not
underhanded. He cannot be tempted or provoked to do the wrong thing.
When he became flesh and dwelt among us, he was humble and obedient as he went
about his father's business.

Does God want us to be Holy?
Yes.
Is this completed as soon as we become a Christian?
No.
What does the process of being made Holy involve?
It means surrendering our lives to God, letting him come into every
room in our heart and sweeping it clean. When we turn to God and focus on
him, he fills us with his Spirit and transforms our mind, emotions and will.
What is this process called?
Sanctification
Illustration
Why do we need to praise and worship God?
Because when we focus on God, he fills us with his Spirit.
What happens to us when we are filled with the Holy Spirit?
Our lives are transformed. We become more like him.
Why do we need to be continually or repeatedly filled with the Spirit?
Because we are like channels and God is like a river. If we don't
turn to him regularly, we become dry and like the foolish virgins, our lamps
will go out.
Also, when we turn to God and worship and praise him, we become filled
with the Spirit and our lives are transformed or sanctified a little bit more.
By continually being filled with the Spirit, we are made more like God
in our Character.
