| What we believe determines what sort of spirit is in our heart and hence our attitude | Believing a lie affects our spirit / heart and hence our attitude |
| Feelings and attitudes are linked to what we believe | Feelings and attitudes are linked to what we believe |
| A correct belief can set us free and give us appropriate feelings and attitudes | A false belief can keep us bound and give us inappropriate feelings and attitudes |
| Having the right attitude is the result of correct beliefs and a good spirit | Having the wrong attitude is a result of incorrect beliefs and a bad spirit |
| Good spirits and the Holy Spirit are linked to the truth | Evil (bad) spirits / demons are closely linked to lies |
| Good spirits can spread to other people who believe their message | Evil (bad) spirits can spread to other people who believe their message |
| Good spirits sometimes manifest themselves in the form of an Angel | Evil (bad) spirits cannot manifest unless they are living in a creature |
| We can serve an angel's purpose by spreading it's truth | We can serve the demon's purpose by spreading it's lies |
| We can let a demon in by believing a lie and evict an angel by rejecting it's truth | We can cast a demon out by confronting the lie but unless the lie is replaced by the correct belief a good spirit will not come in |
| It is very hard to change what somebody believes if they are not open or do not want to listen | It is very difficult to cast a demon out if the host is not open or not willing to listen |
DEMONS ARE DECEIVING SPIRITS
DEMONS HAVE AN EVIL PURPOSE
THEY ARE MESSENGERS OF LIES
WE CAN WORSHIP THEM, BUT THEY WON'T SAVE US
BEHIND EVERY LIE, THERE IS AN EVIL SPIRIT
DEMONS ARE SENT BY THE DEVIL TO MISLEAD US
THEY DON'T HAVE BODIES OF THEIR OWN
THEY NEED TO INHABIT A BODY IN ORDER TO SPEAK TO US
WE CAN CAST DEMONS OUT BY CONFRONTING THEIR LIES
BUT WE MUST STAND ON THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD
IF WE HAVE BEEN DECEIVED BY A DEMON, THEN WE ARE DELUDED
IF WE ARE OBSESSED BY A FALSE BELIEF THEN WE ARE DEMON POSSESSED
MANY FEARS AND PHOBIAS ARE A RESULT OF FALSE BELIEFS
FALSE BELIEFS AFFECT OUR ATTITUDES, PERCEPTION, BEHAVIOUR AND HEALTH
DEMON POSSESSION IS NOT THE SAME AS DISEASE, PAIN, SEIZURES OR DISABILITY (ALTHOUGH THERE MAY BE SOME OVERLAP)
THE ULTIMATE CONSEQUENCE OF DEMON POSSESSION IS SIN & SUFFERING
SEXUAL DEVIATION, VIOLENCE, CRUELTY, SUICIDE AND SELF MUTILATION ARE MANIFESTATIONS OF DEMON POSSESSION
THERE IS A CONSTANT BATTLE BETWEEN THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE KINGDOM OF SATAN
SATAN ENTERED MAN WHEN ADAM FELL
THE EVIL SPIRITS THAT HE INJECTED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR SINFUL NATURE
WHEN WE ARE BORN AGAIN, THE SINFUL NATURE IS DESTROYED AND THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES AND LIVES IN US
THE FALSE BELIEFS THAT CAME WITH THESE DEMONS TAKE A BIT LONGER TO CLEAN UP
IF WE KEEP TURNING TO GOD, OUR CORE BELIEFS WILL GRADUALLY BE RENEWED OUR MEMORIES TRANSFORMED AND OUR SOUL SANCTIFIED
A person can have many demons; each bringing with it a lie or a false belief
People who have multiple demons USUALLY have a delusional system which keeps them in bondage
AN EXAMPLE OF A DELUSIONAL SYSTEM IS THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION
Demons like to co-inhabit WITH OTHER DEMONS because a system of lies is stronger and harder to confront AND correct than a single false belief
WE HAVE AUTHORITY TO CAST OUT DEMONS IF WE ARE BELIEVERS
WHEN Psychologists, counselors and psychiatrists try to CHALLENGE FALSE BELIEFS (cognitive behavioural therapy and psychoanalysis), THEY ARE UNWITTINGLY TRYING TO cast out demons
OFTEN, THEY ARE UNSUCCESSFUL BECAUSE THE PATIENT DOES NOT RECOGNIZE THEIR AUTHORITY
PSYCHOLOGIST AND PSYCHIATRISTS DO NOT HAVE AUTHORITY TO DEAL WITH RELIGIOUS, CULTURAL AND POLITICAL BELIEFS
IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD Non believers do not have the same authority as believers
IF YOU TRY TO CAST A DEMON OUT AND THERE IS NOT ONE THERE, THEN YOU MAY HAVE A DEMON
IN CERTAIN ILLNESSES LIKE SCHIZOPHRENIA, PEOPLE CAN LOOSE THEIR ABILITY TO TO DISCERN WHAT IS TRUE AND FALSE BECAUSE OF PHYSICAL / BIOLOGICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAIN'S CIRCUITRY
DRUGS CAN OFTEN HELP TO STRENGTHEN THESE CIRCUITS WHEN THE BRAIN'S REALITY CHECKING AND CONFLICT RESOLVING MECHANISMS ARE OVERLY STRESSED
