The Heart

The Heart

OUR HEART IS AN EMPTY PART IN US THAT WAS DESIGNED TO CONTAIN GOD'S SPIRIT

THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES IN OUR HEART IF WE ARE BORN AGAIN / BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

EVIL SPIRITS CAN ALSO DWELL IN OUR HEART

UNFORTUNATELY PEOPLE TRY TO FILL THEIR HEARTS WITH ALL SORTS OF THINGS

THEY SET THEIR HEARTS ON IDOLS INSTEAD OF THE ONE TRUE GOD THAT CAN SAVE THEM

ONLY CHRIST CAN FILL THE EMPTINESS THAT WE HAVE

AND ONLY IN CHRIST CAN WE FEEL COMPLETE

HE CAN GIVE YOUR LIFE MEANING AND DIRECTION

Deu 10:12 And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

Deu 10:16 Circumcise your hearts, therefore, and do not be stiff-necked any longer.

Deu 11:3 the signs he performed and the things he did in the heart of Egypt, both to Pharaoh king of Egypt and to his whole country;

Deu 11:13 So if you faithfully obey the commands I am giving you today--to love the LORD your God and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul--

Deu 11:18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.

Deu 13:3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deu 15:10 Give generously to him and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.

Deu 17:17 He must not take many wives, or his heart will be led astray. He must not accumulate large amounts of silver and gold.

Deu 26:16 The LORD your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deu 28:65 Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the LORD will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.

Deu 28:67 In the morning you will say, "If only it were evening!" and in the evening, "If only it were morning!"--because of the terror that will fill your hearts and the sights that your eyes will see.

Deu 29:18 Make sure there is no man or woman, clan or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the LORD our God to go and worship the gods of those nations; make sure there is no root among you that produces such bitter poison.

Deu 30:1 When all these blessings and curses I have set before you come upon you and you take them to heart wherever the LORD your God disperses you among the nations,

Deu 30:2 and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today,

Deu 30:6 The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live.

Deu 30:10 if you obey the LORD your God and keep his commands and decrees that are written in this Book of the Law and turn to the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Deu 30:14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

Deu 30:17 But if your heart turns away and you are not obedient, and if you are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them,

Deu 32:46 he said to them, "Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law.
