Mat 3:10 The ax is already
at the root of the trees, and every tree
that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Mat 3:11 "I baptize you with
water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than
I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He
will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire,
being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.
2 Pet 3:10
But the day of

the elements will be destroyed by fire,

2 Pet 3:12 as you look forward
to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction
